I've been working in DTLA for almost 5 years now. From the warehouse-is Fashion District to the high rise buildings of the Financial and Jewelry District. Before I only see downtown LA as a place to work. Mainly because I usually just go somewhere else after work just to avoid the rush hour and also I've been here the whole day, I need to to see something new. Sometimes I just need to give in and explore the things or places that I really don't want to go to.
I never thought that downtown has a lot to offer from hole in a wall restaurants, rooftop bars, art walks to free concert or movie at the park. I even found a running group that runs 3 times a week around downtown how cool is that!? I've never truly appreciated DTLA until now. Kudos to the city government for making these good improvements in downtown.
