In between training and races I like to hike. I consider this my cross training. Since I don't usually do other physical activities/workouts other than running. Honestly for the past 2 months it's quite hard for me to train for Chicago Marathon. I was busy with work and church activities. Good thing I was able to squeeze in some hiking in my schedule. Next weekend will be a big hike, I'm hiking Mt. Whitney - the highest summit in the contiguous United States. My friends and I have been training for this since last year.
I can't believe august is almost done. I feel like it when so fast that I didn't even notice that it's about to end. I still have like 5 weeks to continue my training for the Chicago Marathon on october. I hope it will be much easier than LA Marathon. I'm hoping to PR Chicago by 15-30 minutes faster than LA.
