August 30, 2015 - The Fastest Day on Earth according to Nike
I was able to go to Nike's event at the Warner Brothers Ranch Studio. Honestly I was just there because it's a Nike event and I was looking forward for the freebies haha. I wasn't even sure if I can really PR my fastest mile because prior to this run I was able to run as much because of work and church activities. I was mostly out for the last 2 months.
My fastest mile was 7'45" that was before I got injured. After the injury, I was having a hard time to run again. When I signed up for this event I told them I'll be at 8'30" pace group because I know that is the fastest I could as of now.
Determined to run fast and to PR, I pushed my self to a speed that I've never ran before. Told my self that the reason for being there is not to get Nike stuff but to improve myself. Surprisingly I was able to PR my official time is 6'43".
I'm so excited to start my training for Team NutriBullet! For I know I will learn a lot about running and living a healthy lifestyle.
